UK Leisure Living Group revealed as 2021 British Pool & Hot Tub Awards Winner

The aspiration for hot tub ownership saw a surge in demand last year, with home, lifestyle and health at the forefront of people’s minds. Other factors, such as travel restrictions and the great British weather which blessed the UK in 2020, ensured that many holiday budgets were re-purposed to create an everydaycation experience at home.

Leading the way for the hot tub industry, the UK trade association BISHTA (British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association) annually invite their members to enter the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards. These awards bring together BISHTA and SPATA (Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association) members. The combined swimming pool, spa, hot tub and wellness industry awards attract entries from companies across the UK, celebrating the best of construction, design, installation, retail, hire, service and innovation.

Local company, UK Leisure Living Group, based in Mochdre, was awarded by BISHTA two national awards in the Hot Tubs in a Holiday Setting category and the Showroom of the year category. With a total of 29 categories to be contested, this year’s winning and highly commended entries to the British Pool & Hot Tub Awards demonstrated the breadth of talent and commitment to quality and service in the industry, even when in the restrictions of a pandemic.

Both BISHTA and SPATA work on behalf of the industry, but with the consumer in mind. Setting Standards and producing a Code of Ethics by which their members are expected to abide. Providing a route for consumers to purchase water leisure products and services with the peace of mind that companies displaying the trade association logos that are listed on the association’s respective websites, are all reputable and trusted businesses working to appropriate standards.

New Call and Collect Service

With rules ever changing in Wales, we are trying to quickly adapt to work within them. After the latest guidance from Welsh Government yesterday (21/12/20) they have allowed non essential shops to provide a type of click and collect service. You can order online but for those wanting same day collection. You can call us, or simply turn up and get the goods you want. So from January the 4th (assuming nothing changes) we will be open to serve all you lovely people.

The showroom door will be open and we will welcome you in the foyer, to serve you. Unfortunately you cant come into the showroom fully but we can get the items you need. You can pay via card or cash and take the goods with you. We are fully stocked with all the items your need. If you are interested in buying a hot tub come down and talk to the team for brochures and leaflets. We cant let you in the showroom but we can potentially arrange to view the hot tubs in the open. Please talk to the team to discuss this option.

Everything we do is via social distancing and following the latest Covid guidance rules.

Opening hours from January 4th are as follows;

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Saturday & Sunday 10am to 4pm

We will be using this time to contact customers and make sure you are all safe and well.

New Wales Lockdown and what it means for us at the UK Leisure Living Group

The news broke this evening of an immediate lock down in Wales 19/12/20 at midnight. What does this mean for us and the showroom? Rest assured if you are booked in for work this side of Christmas, whether it be a hot tub install or service. This will happen, so please do not worry. Next week we were planned to be open Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm. If you are planning to visit the showroom for chemicals and last minute stocking fillers, we will be doing a click and collect service. Simply put, turn up and we will collect goods you want and bring them to your car and you can do a card payment.

If you were planning to visit the showroom this week, as a last chance to view some of the BEST Hot Tubs in the World. Then please contact the team. Either email us neil@ukleisureliving.co.uk or message us on Facebook. We have various way to assist in this process. Please note if you just turn up to view hot tubs, we will have to turn you away due to the measures placed upon us. Please contact us as above if you want to discuss a hot tub purchase now or in the next 12 months. If you are a holiday park, or want to buy in bulk you will need to plan at least 6 months in advance to get what you want. Homeowner hot tubs or holiday cottage customer we have some free stock in early Feb as it stands now.

With Wales being in a lockdown until at least 3 week of Jan, we have some weird and wonderful ways to shop our hot tubs. So please get in touch above if you are planning a 2021 purchase. If all you need is chemicals and accessories, you can buy them on our webshop here  with FREE shipping over £50 and order early for next day delivery. Don’t forget all our tub prices are on our website and rest assured our tubs are either USA or UK Made. We only supply quality from long established manufacturers.
